It is changing and not for the better

I have been a nurse now for over 11 years. Recently I have learned even when you give 110 percent. You are not noticed, told thanks or you have done a good job. Of course your patients and co workers notice and tell  you. But, the things new nurses don't know of and will hopefully never learn. Other nurses will set you up. Some how some way. It can be something so small it is almost impossible to protect yourself. Honestly I have asked several higher ups to send in nurses to see what is going on. As, well I want nurses to be able to wear and have the devices just like cops do the cameras and he mics. I get so tired, of some family members lying on CNA's or nurses. I get tired of staff members jealous or full of themselves due to their so called titles. They are the ones who take home all the nurse's MAR's and the aides books end of the month and force our initals on them. Which is false and lying. And, well they have a job, they get praise for doing wrong against what the state and the nursing boards say. It is almost like when you see this happening or lord forbid it happens to you and you take it to higher ups they don't want to hear it they ignore it. So, to some nurses I say put your recorder on, on your phone esp if you get called in a office or know you have a bad resident or family member. More nurses need to start speaking out and speaking out now. We need to protect ourselves and others. They wonder at times why there is a shortage this is why. They way they get treated, talked to, etc.
